At Greenfields Primary School we believe that everybody has rights; a choice to form your own opinion and an entitlement to certain things.  We must be aware of our responsibilities that allow us all to enjoy our rights equally; with rights comes responsibility.

All children at Greenfields have the right to learn in a safe and respectful environment, where their thoughts and opinions are heard and valued, enabling them to develop their personality, talents and mental and physical abilities to their full potential.

All children at Greenfields are given the chance to learn from a mistake in a safe and supported environment by taking responsibility for it and putting things right; helping to shape their knowledge, personality and life experience.

RULES & RESPONSIBILITIES

All children at Greenfields are expected to listen whilst they are being spoken to and follow any instructions that are given to them.

All children at Greenfields are expected to make good choices regardless of the context of a situation and the people present. Children are supported to make good choices in their behaviour and conduct. 

Behaviour – the Home/School agreement

When you decide that Greenfields is going to be the school for your child, at the admissions meeting you will be asked to complete and sign our home/school agreement. It outlines what we will do for your child and also what your responsibilities are as a parent/carer of a child attending our school.

It is our expectation that children at Greenfields will follow our school rules:
