I can barely believe it has been a whole week since I wrote to you to remind you of our opening plan. An ‘opening plan’ seems a thing of the distant past almost; the Greenfields children, staff and parents are ‘open’ and doing a fantastic job!
It has been so lovely to see some near normality back in our school- teachers teaching and children learning. As well as the areas of the curriculum you might expect to be a focus such as reading and maths, the children at Greenfields have had opportunity to play, to collaborate and most importantly just to ‘be’.
From my office I can see the children accessing their outdoor learning, their cheeks are rosy there are smiles on their faces; they’re glad to be back. Yes, it’s been a long week, but my goodness it’s been a good one!
